22nd Baku acrobatic gymnastics championship completes

The 22nd Baku acrobatic gymnastics championship completed at the Baku Gymnastics School Sept. 5. Some 36 gymnasts, representing the Baku Gymnastics School, Neftchi sports club and Nizami district sports school, were involved in the competitions.

Neftchi sports club’s women's pair (Aziza Guliyeva and Zamira Rzayeva) ranked first among 11-16 year-old gymnasts following the competition.

Neftchi sports club’s women's pair (Jeyla Zakiyeva and Mina Beydieva) ranked first among 12-18 year-old gymnasts, Safia Babayeva and Nargiz Heybatova (Neftchi sports club) ranked second, Valeria Yazmina and Laman Mammadova (Baku Gymnastics School) ranked third.

A men's pair Seymur Jafarov and Murad Akbarov (Baku Gymnastics School) ranked first among 12-18 year-old gymansts, Seymur Babayev and Bakhtiyar Ibrahimov (Nizami district sports school) ranked second, Rashid Abbasov and Daniel Abbasov (Baku Gymnastics School and Neftchi sports club) ranked third.

A mixed pair - Nurjan Jabbarli and Agasif Rahimov (Baku Gymnastics School) ranked first among 12-18 year-old gymnasts, Abdulla Al Mashayhi and Ruhidil Gurbanli (Baku Gymnastics School) ranked second, Zahra Aliyeva and Mushfig Mammadov (Baku Gymnastics School) ranked third.

A women's pair - Laman Zeynalzade, Ayla Zakiryaeva and Samra Askerzade (Neftchi sports club) ranked first among 11-16 year-old gymnasts.

Narmin Ramazanova, Aynur Huseynova and Lala Huseynova (Baku Gymnastics School) ranked first in the adult category.

The finalists received prizes and gifts.
