President visits earthquake-hit regions

According to APA, President Aliyev will visit the quake-affected villages of Zagatala and Gakh regions to see the consequences of natural disaster and meet with the local residents.
7-magnitude earthquake hit Zagatala region of Azerbaijan at 09.40 on May 7 and was followed by the series of aftershocks.
According to the last statistics, 274 constructions collapsed, 2052 became disrepair and 100 social facilities were damaged as a result of the quake. The Ministry of Emergency Situations installed more than 500 tents in the quake-affected villages and settled 1050 families there. 1276 families were settled in the houses of their relatives. The emergency headquarters are working in the quake-affected regions.
According to the instruction given by President Ilham Aliyev, AZN 20 million was allocated from the state budget to the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the elimination of the quake consequences.
