Azerbaijan America Alliance sponsored a celebration of 2012 Novruz at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. Novruz, referred to in Azerbaijan as Novruz Bayramı, is a traditional Iranian holiday that celebrates the New Year and the coming of Spring. Each year, Novruz is celebrated throughout Azerbaijan with special food, extensive spring cleaning, and traditions dating back hundreds of years.
